A Pseudo-Problem for Minimalism

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to contribute to the debate between contextualism and minimalism. I show that one of the main arguments against minimalism, which I called “argument of loss of generality of the notion of implicature”, is based on a misunderstanding or a simplification of the mechanism of generation of conversational implicatures.
